OUR MISSION
WATCHITGROW Incorporated is a Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation. Our Mission is to develop and provide programs and activities to improve the quality of living for such groups as: Single women with children, troubled teens, and those who suffer from obsessive compulsive disorders
in our community and communities like ours across the country.

We offer housing, employment, food, and guidance. Our Shelter/Transitional House was opened in September of 2004. Since then, we have housed over 1,012 people, with 483 that have transitioned back into society successfully. In January of 2009, we opened a Thrift Store for job training and employment. Our organization joined with "Feed The Children" as part of our Give Back Program in 2010. Feed the Children provides donations twice a month that our agency takes to three different low-income housing projects. This not only teaches our residents to give back, but helps over 300 families per month.

Watchitgrow Inc.'s future goal is to find a larger location for our housing project. South Central Los Angeles is highly populated with gang violence, drug abuse, homelessness and mental illness. This is our core area. As a small organization, we have made a great impact!

OFFERS OUR
"SPECIAL THANKS"
AND WAS HONORED TO RECEIVED THIS SPECIAL RECOGNITION AT OUR
BIG GIVEAWAY
JUNE 11, 2022
This past July WATCHITGROWINC was again honored to receive yet another award for services offered to our community. Thank you "Holly Mitchell, Chair of the Board, Second District".
We remain humble in the knowledge that it could not have happened without the tireless efforts of our volunteers and, as always, the residents of our community!
And we are proud to receive it! But nothing beats the warm feeling we get when we see the smiles on the faces of adults and especially the children when we've helped supply some basic needs.

WATCHITGROW INC.
has adopted a family in WATTS. Ms. Teresa is a single mother with eight (8) children. One of her sons has a disability yet she was willing to walk three (3) miles to our distribution site. We stepped in to deliver food baskets to her every Tuesday and Friday and will also help with other family needs.

WHAT WE DO
RESIDENTIAL LIVING
WATCHITGROW Incorporated is in the business of changing and shaping lives. The work we do at our Non-Profit Organization is aimed at providing a holistic approach to solving some of our society’s biggest challenges. We make sure our partners are empowered by creating opportunities for individuals and communities.
A Bit of Background
In 2003, WATCHITGROW Incorporated opened a shelter/sober living named the Bernard-Lee House. We are considered a shelter due to our ability to house individuals for no more than three weeks for free. After that, we charge a monthly fee per bed. Our facility provides food, on-site washer/dryer, Cable TV, walk-in closets, storage space and personal hygiene items.
There is a 10 pm curfew and each resident suffering from substance abuse has to attend at least five 12-step meetings per week.
In 2008, we opened an establishment for our work release program. It has an on-site work program to help residents obtain permanent employment. We also established an off-site location where residents work with the public. This helps residents with self esteem issues, humility and communication problems.

Here at WATCHITGROW, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. Our decision making process is informed by comprehensive empirical studies and high quality data evaluation. We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits.
